Ian and I watched the anime film My Neighbor Totoro for the first time last night. I absolutely loved it.
This is the rest of the sign the Totoro is in front of. Apparently, there are numerous ways to electrocute yourself on train lines and Korea implores you not to do any of them. Strangely, the sign is on a bridge above the lines, where none of these scenarios are actually possible.
We walked around a lot today, like we do most Sundays. So, here are some random photos from our trek.
There's a family tomb in the middle of all these rice paddies. We couldn't get over to it and I'm not sure we're supposed to anyway.

We've been wanting to try these for awhile. They're called "Tornado Potatoes" (I can't find the name in Korean, but that's what it translates to). It's just a regular yellow or white potato cut into a spiral and then carefully stretched onto a stick. You can get them in cheese, red pepper or onion. We chose onion and shared it, naturally, since it's as big as my head. It tasted a lot like sour cream and onion chips, only on a freshly fried potato. It was tasty, but I think once was enough.
